Project Questions

1.What makes a successful chair?
A successful chair must be made from good material and have a good support and foundation.
2.How do chairs fail?
They may not be built correctly, such as no connection or the design wasn't very good.
3. What is important to include into the chair's design?
The correct way to build it, and how to place the materials, as well as well they start.
4. Where will your chair be located? Who will be sitting in it at that location?
My chair will be located in Mrs. Nguyen's class and I am going to sit on the chair.
5. What would you change about your design if you were to build a real chair.
I would use screws,maybe wire, and sturdy glue.
6.What would happen if you built your chair with a prototype first?
My chair would probably fail and I would waste materials.
7. What is a corrugate cardboard?
A corrugate cardboard has a rough uneven surface.
8. How is corrugated cardboard made?
Corrugated cardboard is made by using large corrugation machines that are able to create cardboard at a speed of 500 lineal feet per minute.
9. What is the primary raw material used to make cardboard?
 Pine trees is the primary raw material to make cardboard.
10. How many cubic yards of landfill space can be saved by recycling 1 ton of cardboard?
 9 cubic yards.
11. How many trees can be saved each year if each household used 1 roll of recycled paper towels?
544,00 trees can be saved each year.
