Glider Project

Throughout the glider project I’ve learned many things. I learned that in order to build a glider, I needed to follow many steps, instead of just directly building it. I needed to do research on the glider. I needed a front, side and top view of the glider. Afterwards I drew a template of the different parts of the glider. I learned that I need to do a lot before starting building my glider. The glider needed a rudder, an elevator, and wings. I learned that the elevator changes the pitch of the glider. And rudder is used for effecting horizontal change in course.  I learned that the glider needed to be stabilized in order to balance whenever it’s flying. The glider was similar to the 1900 version, but had larger wings. I learned that the 1902 glider had a much thinner airfoil and longer narrow wings, which became more efficient when the glider was flown.
